Food trucks serving outside the WCC are not required to be listed on the Approved Caterers List. Any food & beverage purchased from food trucks or other restaurants outside the WCC are not permitted to be consumed within the building.
A food truck does not receive the following benefits: listing on the WCC website, service inside the WCC, serving and prep tables, use of servery kitchens, trash removal, after-event cleaning, or linens. If a food truck vendor or the Client would like those benefits, he or she can submit the required documentation to be on the Approved Caterer List and agree to submit the 18% Catering Fee.
If a food truck needs electricity, the vendor may request electrical service. Fees start at $50 per day and service is subject to availability and dependent upon location.
The City of Waco requires any food truck to have a license to operate in the City limits. More information on permits and licenses here.
